About Victoria Wang - Summit Learning Adventures

About Me

Hi! My name is Victoria Wang and I am a neurodivergent, licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. I am passionate about helping children thrive and reach their goals by honoring their special interests, strengths, sensory needs and differences.

In 2013, I graduated from California State University, Northridge with my Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology. In 2015, I completed the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program through California State University, Northridge - Tseng College, and started working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. In 2017, I was accepted into the speech pathology graduate program through California State University, Northridge. In 2020, I graduated with my Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. A few months later, I started working as a school-based speech-language pathologist for an elementary school through Moorpark Unified School District. After four years working for MUSD, I decided to start my own private practice.

My passion is supporting children, making them feel loved, confident in themselves, and having fun through sensory and movement activities. A child’s emotional well-being is very important to me and I want them to feel heard and understood. My sessions are child-led, connection-driven, play-based, and use the child's preferred interest to build intrinsic motivation to reach their optimal learning zone.
